Hi, this is Jean... [loud crackling in the background, the sound of sighing] ... and Blitz. We're busy right now and can't answer, so leave a message and we'll get back to you.
[Jean clearly doesn't believe this 'details aren't very important' bullshit, but he'll let Armin get away with it for the time being. They have more important things to worry about.]
So I take it Shiro's pretty screwed up about the whole thing?
[Getting strangled and killed by Shiro probably rates as a bit more than a detail, but it's not something Armin wants to really think about too much. It had been a dream. It hadn't been real. He's fine. Don't they all occasionally die in their dreams when they have nightmares about the titans? Why would this be any different?
Sure, it had been far more vivid and real and painful than any other nightmare had ever been, but there is no time to dwell on it, not when Shiro needs help.]
He is. At first, he wouldn't even talk to me. When he did, he was-- [Armin frowns, then glances back to Jean, looking at him directly again.] He really didn't look good at all. He didn't even want to look at me at first. Or tell me where he was. He's obviously blaming himself for what happened, but it's not just that. He was... he was scared.
[Have you ever seen Shiro scared, Jean? Cause Armin has and it is not a pretty scene.]
[Being alone while terrified and full of guilt? Not good, and also not acceptable. Jean has had to deal with that himself, after Trost, and it's not an experience he recommends.]
Sounds like the Pokemon have already arranged it. I bet Haunter is behind this.
Have you seen or heard from Sasha at all? Bertolt's around, but I haven't heard anything from her yet.
[And Jean hadn't been worried until this very minute. If anyone could survive in the woods on her own for a few days, it's Sasha; and yet, that hadn't been a normal woods.]
[Armin hesitates, just a moment too long to make his answer come out smooth. It's just that... with how long it has been since they saw Sasha, it is inevitable other thoughts beyond 'she's lost in the woods' to have come to mind. But Armin isn't sure if he wants to think about that, not now, not when there is already so much going on. Because he knows life isn't fair. He never expected it to be. But sometimes it's just... really not fair.]
We don't even know where we are right now. Maybe she ended up somewhere separate from us.
[Jean doesn't like this. He doesn't like it at all. But they need to prioritize, they need to do triage, and Shiro is the most vulnerable person right now. If Sasha is still here, whether in the woods or anywhere else, she can take care of herself for another day or two. They have to focus on other things.]
Maybe Bertolt can go try and track her down. We'll take care of Shiro, he goes and finds out what he can about her.
[Bertolt does have a lot of dog Pokemon, right? Maybe they'll be able to find Sasha's scent.
Or maybe they could just take a look at their gear to see if she is still even around but childishly, Armin wants to put that off for a little while. It's good to still have a little bit of hope while they have so much else to handle. If Sasha truly is gone, not checking their gear won't make things worse. Not for her, at least.]
[The gear would be the obvious place to start, but Jean doesn't want to do that either. Looking at the gear would be knowing for sure, and he'd rather be ignorant awhile longer. They've lost too many people lately as it is, and his dreams about Marco have made his own loss fresh and stinging again.]
All right, I'll talk to Bertolt and get him looking for her. Why don't you round up the Pokemon and we'll get ready to go meet Shiro's?
[And with that decided, Armin quickly moves to start rounding up pokemong and packing his own bags again so he can be ready to leave to get Shiro whenever Jean is. He's certain Shiro's pokemon are taking very good care of them where he is, but he still doesn't want to leave them to handle Shiro on their own for any longer than they need to.]

We should find Bertolt and Sasha and let them know where we are going. Maybe they can head for town already and we can meet up with them there later.
[A soft sigh. A tired one. Things are just happening a lot right now.]
Though I'm not even sure where exactly we are. This place... it doesn't really look like the last place I remember before we ended up in that forest.
